Getting Started
Last Updated: January 11, 2026When you open a product that supports custom design, you will see a button “Customize Product”. Clicking this button opens the the design editor in your browser. Give it a few seconds to load, especially if this is your first time.
The Design Editor Layout
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Once the editor opens, you will see: Everything you add will appear live on the product preview.
Adding and Editing Text
Last Updated: January 11, 2026To add text: Once added, you can edit wording, size, colour and alignment directly on the product. Readable fonts and good contrast usually give the best print results.
Uploading Images or Logos
Last Updated: January 11, 2026To upload your own image: For best results: You can resize and rotate images directly on the product.
Changing Colours
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Depending on the product, you may be able to: Select colours from the predefined product colours in the tools area (Left)
Using Templates
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Templates are ready-made designs you can start from instead of designing from scratch. There are over 30 free templates available. Using Clipart
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Clipart are ready-made graphics you can add to your design. There are over 300 free clipart options available. Hover over the (i) icon on any clipart to view details such as name, tags and price if applicable. Most clipart colours can be adjusted once added.
Working With Images
Last Updated: January 11, 2026You can use your own images or choose from free image libraries. Options include: To add an image: Use categories, tags or search to find images quickly.
Using Shapes
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Shapes are vector-based, which means they stay sharp when resized or printed. Shapes can be resized, recoloured and layered like any other design element.
Managing Layers
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Every element you add appears as a layer. Open the Layers tab to: Layers are especially useful for complex designs with multiple elements.
Drawing Freehand
Last Updated: January 11, 2026The Drawing tab allows you to draw directly onto the product. You can: Select your settings, then draw directly in the editor area. This works well for signatures, simple sketches or handwritten details.
Switching Product Views
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Some products allow multiple views, such as front and back. Use the view selector to switch sides and design each area separately. Make sure every side looks correct before continuing.
Checking Your Design
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Before submitting: What you see in the editor is what will be printed, so take your time here.
Saving Your Design
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Some products allow you to save your design and return later. If available, click Save Design and follow the instructions. Saved designs are usually linked to your browser or account.
Adding to Cart
Last Updated: January 11, 2026When you are happy with your design: Your design is securely saved with your order.
During Checkout
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Complete checkout as usual. You do not need to upload your design again. The system sends it with your order. If you need multiple quantities of the same design, adjust the quantity in the cart.
After Placing Your Order
Last Updated: January 11, 2026Once your order is placed: If you spot a mistake immediately, contact us as soon as possible.
