Printed in Nairobi, one at a time
PrintSap connects people who want something custom-made with the printers who make it — without either side carrying stock.
What we do
Someone designs a t-shirt, a hoodie or a mug on PrintSap. We send that design to a print partner here in Nairobi, who prints it and gets it delivered. Nothing is made before it is ordered.
The same system lets anyone open a storefront: you design the products, set your own prices, and we handle printing, delivery and payment. You are not buying stock and you are not holding any.
Why it works this way
Custom printing in Kenya has usually meant a minimum order. Twenty shirts, paid for up front, before you know whether anyone wants them. That rules out most people with a good idea and no capital — a small brand, a church group, a campaign, a band.
Print-on-demand removes the minimum. One shirt is a viable order. What it needs in return is software that can take a design, turn it into a print-ready file at the right size, route it to a printer and keep everyone informed. That is what PrintSap is.
Who prints
We work with print partners in Nairobi rather than printing ourselves. Each order is sent to a partner with the artwork, the size and the placement measured in centimetres.
Print partners see what to make and where to send it. They do not see the customer’s details beyond what is needed to deliver, and they do not see a seller’s margin.
Where we are
Nairobi, and delivering across Kenya. Prices are in Kenyan shillings and payment is by card or M-Pesa through Paystack.
Where we are going
More products, more print partners, and eventually more cities — the model works wherever there is a printer willing to take one-off jobs. For now we would rather do Nairobi properly.
