Acceptable Use Policy
In effect from 3 November 2026.
KUIKON LIMITED (PVT-3QU72BYX), trading as PrintSap (printsap.com), Arrow House, Koinange Street, Nairobi · Effective 3 November 2026
This policy sets out what may be designed, sold and bought on PrintSap, and how we enforce it. It applies to every buyer, seller, business client and visitor, and forms part of our Terms of service. Because we print and deliver what is sold, we take responsibility for what appears on our platform and on the products we make. You are responsible for everything you upload, publish, sell or send through PrintSap.
1. Content you may not upload, sell or order
No design, product title, description or store page may contain:
- Other people’s intellectual property without written permission, including copyrighted artwork, photographs, characters, music, lyrics, slogans and fonts; trademarks, brand names and logos; and sports club, school or government insignia. This covers the Copyright Act, 2001 and the Trade Marks Act.
- Counterfeit or look-alike branding, meant to pass off a product as made or endorsed by someone else.
- Hate speech or incitement: content attacking people for their ethnicity, tribe, race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristic, or encouraging violence.
- Graphic violence, or content that glorifies terrorism or extremism.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
- Explicit sexual or pornographic imagery.
- Illegal goods or activity: anything illegal in Kenya, including illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit money, forged documents and stolen goods, and content that promotes or instructs others to commit a crime, fraud or a scam, or encourages self-harm.
- A real person’s name, image, likeness or personal data without their permission, including celebrities, public figures and sports stars; or content that harasses, threatens or defames a real person.
- National symbols misused: the national flag, coat of arms, government or security-force insignia, or anything suggesting official approval you do not have.
- False or misleading claims, such as fake health claims, false claims about quality, origin or endorsements, or impersonating a person, business or public body, or using a name likely to confuse buyers.
2. Conduct that is not allowed
- Giving false or someone else’s identity, tax or payout details during seller verification.
- Placing fake orders, buying from your own store to inflate sales or move money, using stolen payment details, money laundering, or abusing refunds and chargebacks.
- Fake reviews, spam, attempts to manipulate orders or rankings, and false or exaggerated claims about how much sellers can earn on PrintSap.
- Asking buyers to pay outside PrintSap, or contacting buyers to take sales off the platform.
- Opening further accounts to get around a suspension, or sharing your login with others. Keep your account secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Abusing people, including our team, couriers, print partners, sellers and buyers.
- Interfering with the site: scraping, automated abuse, probing for weaknesses, or attempting to reach other users’ data. This includes conduct covered by the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018.
3. Seller responsibilities
- You must own, or be licensed to use, everything in your designs, and be able to show proof if asked.
- Your verification details must be true and kept up to date.
- Your product listings must describe the product accurately.
- You must not collect buyers’ personal details. PrintSap does not share them with you.
4. Store review
Every new store is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may ask you to change a store, product or design, or decline it. Approval does not mean we have checked that your content is lawful or that you own it: you remain responsible for it. We may review stores again after they are live.
5. How we enforce this policy
If we find, or reasonably believe, that this policy has been broken, we act according to how serious it is, the harm it may cause and the account’s history:
- Before printing: our print partners and staff may refuse to print a design that breaks this policy. The order is cancelled and the buyer fully refunded.
- Removal: we may remove any design, product or store page that breaks this policy, without notice.
- Warning or limits: we may warn you, or limit what your account can do.
- Suspension: we may suspend or close a seller’s store. Its products stop selling at once.
- Costs: where a seller’s breach leads to a refund or chargeback, the seller repays their share, as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
- Reporting to authorities: we report unlawful content where the law requires it, and cooperate with investigations.
Where the risk is serious or urgent we may act without notice. Where we can, we tell you what we did and why.
6. Reporting a problem
To report content that breaks this policy, or infringes your rights, email admin@printsap.com. Include the store or product link, a description of the problem and any evidence. We look into every report. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services first.
A rights complaint (copyright or trademark) should include:
- your name and contact details, and whether you act for the rights owner;
- what work you say is infringed, with proof that you own it or act for the owner;
- the link to the store or product;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your notice is accurate, with your full name.
We take the content down within 2 business days while we review it, and tell the seller. A seller who believes the complaint is mistaken can reply with evidence of their rights, and we will consider it. We close the stores of sellers who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.
7. Appeals
A seller whose content or store has been removed can appeal by replying to our notice within 14 days. A PrintSap director reviews the appeal and our decision is final.
8. Our role
We do not review everything on PrintSap all the time, and we do not promise to find every breach. Not acting in one case does not mean we approve the content or give up our right to act later. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Kenyan law.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always at printsap.com/policies/acceptable-use, with its effective date.
